On Thursday, Nov. 5, the Fond du Lac County Board of Supervisors will be sharing the plans for the new potential jail. Previously, the board saw the plans last Tuesday, Oct. 27. These plans were kept private as they contained security details that could compromise the jail’s safety. In addition, the cost of the project will be made public. Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. at the City-County Government Center, Legislative Chambers 160 S. Macy Street, Fond du Lac.
Any questions, comments or concerns can be directed to Campbellsport Village President, Thomas Dornbrook, at 920-410-2484.
In the future, five public listening sessions will be held throughout the county. These are planned to occur in January of 2027. It will give the public a chance to talk with the Samuel Group, who will move forward with the project if approved. Then in February of 2027, the County Board of Supervisors will hold its first open-session discussion of the proposed project. Further updates and meetings will be made public in the Campbellsport News.
