Kewaskum Falls to Conference Rival Waupun in Sectional Semifinal

After winning both regular season games against the Waupun Warriors, the Kewaskum Indians baseball team lost just 2-1 in an extra-innings, sectional showdown in Waupaca on Tuesday, June 10.
Despite Waupun loading the bases in the second and third innings, Kewaskum was the first to score in the fourth inning. Waupun quickly responded in the fifth inning to tie the game up for the next six innings until the game-winning run came across the plate in the 11th inning.
While Waupun may have won, the Indians’ defense and pitching caused some real trouble for the Warriors throughout the game.
Kewaskum finished the season as Co-East Central Conference Champions with Kettle Moraine Lutheran, with an 11-1 record. Their overall record was 23-6.
The First Team All-Conference players are senior Andrew Reichert and sophomore Kingston Grisolono, who is also Player of the Year.
Second Team All-Conference players are senior Austin Reichel, junior Liam Stoffel, senior Samuel Ciriacks, senior Tyler Densow, and senior Everett Donath.
Senior Cooper Petermann received an Honorable Mention.
