Braden Bothe finished up his high school baseball career at Campbellsport by being named the Flyway Conference Player of the Year after helping lead the Cougars to a share of the Flyway Conference Championship.
“I started playing baseball when I was four or five years old,” said Braden Bothe. “Baseball is important to me because it has become part of me with every summer since I can remember. I have been playing baseball, and I enjoy baseball more than almost anything else.”
“My favorite baseball moments in my career are winning two conference titles in four years when I was on varsity during my career and being able to pitch the game that won us the conference this year,” said Bothe.
“The biggest influences on me throughout my baseball career have been my friends, family, and all of my coaches. All of these people have helped me become the person I am today and have had a big influence on how hard I have worked and grown as a baseball player,” said Bothe.
“Biggest accomplishments were being named Flyway Conference Player of the Year, first team unanimous conference selection, honorable all-district, undefeated pitching record of 7-0 with an ERA of 0.85 during my senior year,” said Bothe.
“My future plans in baseball are to play college baseball at Bryant and Stratton College,” said Bothe.
