Campbellsport Girls Wrestling has a Productive Day in Menasha

On December 20, Campbellsport girls wrestling was led by Irelyn Woolhether and Savannah Ksoiszk with second-place finishes at the Menasha Royal Rumble.
“Irelyn won her match 11-1 to reach the finals before losing to the eighth-ranked wrestler in the finals,” said Head Coach Dan Heisdorf. “Savannah won her match 6-3 to get into the finals before losing to the second-ranked wrestler in the finals.
“All of the girls wrestled really well today, with Mya losing a heartbreaker to the 12th-ranked wrestler in the state in overtime,” said Heisdorf. “There were over 35 ranked wrestlers here, and we battled with some of the best.”
Campbellsport wrestling will next be on the mat when they travel to UW-Oshkosh on December 29 and 30.
