On May 2, Campbellsport baseball beat Laconia 7-2 after the game was rescheduled from Thursday due to rainy weather to split the season series against the Spartans.
Campbellsport (12-3, 6-2) scored three runs in the third inning against Laconia (11-2, 7-1). The Cougars loaded the bases with no outs, which was started by a Gage Kohlmann single.
The Cougars were able to score the first run of the game with a bases-loaded walk from Jace Goebel, then followed up by manufacturing two more runs with two outs to take a 3-0 lead over the visiting Spartans.
