Another Win for the Cougar Keglers, Record Now 5-0

The Cougar girls’ bowling team upped their record to 5-0 this week with a win over the Hartford Orioles.
Once again, it was an all in effort by all the girls. The Orioles put up a good fight and really only had two low games and averaged 135 per game to give the Cougars some competition. The Cougars averaged 156 on the night to win the match 6-2 with one game tied at 155.
The Cougars threw games of 194, 168 and 161 to secure the victory. Lillee Kiehnau led the team with 13 of 16 frames filled, Ava Polzin offered up 11 of 16 frames, and Kendall Boegel was right behind her with 10 of 14 frames. Viola Schrauth showed good improvement, filling 8 of 14 frames.
The Cougars traveled to Richfield this week for the last match before Christmas break; they face West Bend West for the second time of the season.
Stats for the match were as follows (strikes-spares-total frames): Lillee Kiehnau 3-10-16; Kendall Boegel 3-7-14; Ava Polzin 3-8-16; Viola Schrauth 5-3-14; Abby Jarmuz 2-5-16; Genna Grahl 2-5-14.
