25 Y EARS A GO F EBRUARY 29, 1996 When Ken Schmidt pinned Brad Fry of Royall in 3:08, the Cougar junior won the 103-lb. crown at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament. He dominated the Division 2 weight class with ease, going 40-0. Schmidt is the ninth state champion in school history.
