Henry “Fred” F. Pieper, III, 70, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home with his beloved family gathered around him.
He was born on October 26, 1949 in Fond du Lac, the son of Henry F. and Dorothy M. (nee Backhaus) Pieper, Jr. On March 17, 1979, Fred married Roxanne G. Weissensee at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport. Fred was involved in the sale of petroleum-based products first with Shefond Oil and then with Fredon. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on various boards there.
Fred was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy and later served on several boards there and also served on the board of Union Cemetery in Campbellsport, where he did volunteer lawn mowing for many years. He was a softball coach for the Eden Junior Athletic Association and Winnebago Lutheran Academy and was a basketball coach at Waucousta Lutheran Grade School. Fred most enjoyed the time spent with family and friends, especially attending all the grandchildren’s activities.
Those left behind to cherish Fred’s memory include his wife of 41 years Roxanne; daughters Ahnsharee (Nathan) Klusmeyer, Jessica (Douglas) Gunderson, Jenissa (Dale) Skaer, Kanda (Paul) Metzger and Kyla (Cameron) Rath; grandchildren Kaliska, Thomas and Grant Klusmeyer, Taylor, Trace, Taryn, Tacey and Tobias Gunderson, Everett, Blake, Easton, Beckett and Finley Skaer, Anika, Moses, Natasha and Tatyana Metzger and Otto, Leland, Mabel and Hazel Rath, sisters Mary (George) Herbst, Diane (John) Douglass, Ellen Pieper, Beth (Peter) Jones and Joan (Richard) Dostal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Dorothy; and infant children, Jackson and Gail.
Private family services will be held and a memorial service will be held on a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Winnebago Lutheran Academy or Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
Fred’s family would like to thank Emily, Larry, and Joey from Hospice Hope for the care they provided.
