Horicon Mayor Declares Public Health Emergency

On March 17, 2020, the Mayor of the City of Horicon issued a Proclamation Declaring a Public Health Emergency in Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  The Mayor has determined that extraordinary measures must be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the City of Horicon. As of the writing of this release there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Horicon or Dodge County.

Mayor Grigg said, “The City will continue to deliver essential services to residents throughout the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some services may be curtailed to protect employee and resident health, but those have not been finalized.”

The City of Horicon encourages all residents to monitor the City web site at www.cityhoriconwi.us and the police department’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Horicon-Police-Department to receive the most up-to-date information specific to Horicon. For information about COVID-19.
