Mark Lynn Eichstedt of Oshkosh passed away on November 7, 2024, at Vista Impatient Hospice in West Allis.
Mark was born on November 27, 1951, in Kewaskum to the late Oliver and Barbara (nee Falk) Eichstedt.
Mark graduated from Holy Trinity Grade School, then Kewaskum High School in 1969, having participated in football, basketball, and track, where he set half-mile records. He also attended UW-Fond du Lac and UW-LaCrosse.
Mark was enjoying retirement, after working nearly twenty years at Oshkosh Trucking Company. He spent many years as a self-employed roofer, using skills his father taught his sons. He spent many winter working for the White Eagle Lodge in Texas and also worked various jobs, while living near siblings in Tucson, AZ.
Mark was married twice and remained life-long friends with Colleen Skundberg in La Farge and Viroqua area. Of late, Mark had been spending his time helping Theresa Laul, an immigrant family from South Sudan, Africa.
Beside being an avid fan of all Wisconsin sports teams (Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, Packers), Mark enjoyed golf, especially supporting Tiger Woods.
Those left to cherish his memory are brothers, Clark, Glenn (Jackie), Richard, Michael (Normadina); and sisters, Kay (Terry Tye) and Michelle (Joe Koile), and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Jodi Hernandez.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
