C.H.S. January Students of the Month

Posted

Congratulations to Reese Uelmen, Noah Bobb, Jack Kirsch, and Marie Zimdahl for being selected as Campbellsport High School “Students of the Month” in January.
Reese Uelmen
“The Campbellsport High School English department’s student of the month for January is Reese Uelmen. Reese has shown the highest level of dedication to learning for the entire school year, consistently earning high marks on all assignments, quizzes, and tests. She is also an excellent writer and public speaker. Furthermore, Reese has great integrity as a student. It is clear she takes every assignment seriously and always does her best. Because she is a little quiet and likes to avoid attention, Reese doesn’t seek out opportunities to brag about her grades
or her intelligence. On behalf of all of her teachers for every subject, we want her to know that she is recognized and appreciated. Congratulations, Reese!” Submitted by Mr. Schmitt.
Noah Bobb

“The Science Department selects Noah Bobb as the CHS student of the month. Noah earned the highest grade in College Chemistry for the first semester of our dual-credit class. He is also a go-to for other students who need a little help; he is always patient and is willing to
explain how to solve problems to his peers in a way that helps them better understand. He is willing to tackle challenges and is excellent at methodically solving difficult problems. Noah is a wonderful asset to our class!” Submitted by Mrs. Ballard
Jack Kirsch
“The Tech. Ed. Department would like to recommend Jack Kirsch for our Student of the Month. Jack is enrolled in SMAW and GMAW welding courses as well as 2D AutoCad, 2D CNC MasterCam and Engineering with Solid Works this year. He is excelling beyond expectations in all of these courses. In addition to required course work, Jack spearheaded a project to build replacement welding tables for all of the welding booths. Prototyping then leading a group of students in manufacturing quality replacement tables. These will benefit students for years. Jack truly embodies what Tech. Ed. is.” Submitted by Mr. Hein
Marie Zimdahl
“The Spanish Department is proud to announce that our student of the month for January is Marie Zimdahl. Marie is currently taking Spanish 2 as a freshman and has proven herself to be an extremely conscientious and outstanding language student. Marie is mature beyond her years and she picks up Spanish quickly and easily. She is always prepared for class and is someone I can count on to know what is going on when we go over a confusing concept. Not only does Marie understand everything that we do in class, but I have also observed her helping the students around her figure out how to answer questions or work through a translation. She is patient, kind, encouraging and just an all-around fantastic person. Marie is also very organized and was always the first person to come in and get the speaking portion of her test done before the actual test date. During these times, Marie’s speaking was flawless, but I also had the chance to see more of her sense of humor that sometimes you don’t get to see when you have a class full of students from all different grade levels. I am truly impressed with how Marie has conducted herself these past two trimesters and I will be sad to see her leave at the end of this month. However, I am confident that she will finish her freshman year successfully and become a great leader within our school throughout her remaining three years. Felicitaciones Marie - keep it up!!!” Submitted by Señora Ellenbecker
