Vivian V. Bartelt


Vivian Verna Darmody Bartelt, formerly of Campbellsport, passed away on April 21, 2022.Vivian was the youngest of six children of Michael and Violenta (nee Zimmel) Darmody. Vivian was born August 11, 1928. Vivian was baptized, confirmed and married at St John Lutheran Church, West Bend. On October 1, 1949, she married Carl Walter Bartelt. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2013. They lived and raised their family on the Bartelt family farm of rural Campbellsport. Vivian lived on the farm until it sold in the fall of 2016. Her health issues had begun.Vivian was a wife, homemaker and mother. She worked at H and R Block in the day and worked at the office of Old Ironsides Battery Factory, Campbellsport. Vivian was the Clerk of the Town of Ashford for 12 years. She was a member of Campbellsport United Church of Christ from her marriage. She previously served on the Church Council and was the council secretary.Vivian was a quilter, and her children and grand - children enjoy her quilts. She was a great reader. She liked puzzles and playing sheepshead. She loved living in the country and being outside. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She and Walter enjoyed travel in retirement; not just the long distance trips (although they did enjoy those), but especially the two- to three-day trips around the state of Wisconsin, which were great fun for them. They did not stray too far from the farm for too long. A trip to Ireland had been a great memory for her.She is survived by her children: Rev. Deborah Bartelt, Oshkosh; Randall Bartelt, Campbellsport; Roxane (Steve) Platteter, Janesville; Amy (Bert) Wilson, Gladstone, MI; and Penny (Tom) Essmann, Brownsville. Her grandchildren, Richelle (Justin) Volm, Heather (Dustin) Williams, Benjamin Bartelt (special friend, Renee), and Chad (Sarah) Hackbarth were cherished. Her great-grandchildren, Ryker Volm, Vivian Williams, and Brynlee Williams, lit up her life. Her brother, Jerry Darmody, survives her. Her nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her daughter, Janine; her son, Dean; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Bartelt. Her brothers and sisters and their spouses have long been missed: Clyde and Mildred Darmody, Blanche and Wilmer Hawig, Hazel and Eugene Weinand, Wesley and Pearl Darmody and Marion Darmody.Private family services have been held with burial in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport. Betty M. Seibel, 70, and George F. Seibel, 75, of rural St., Cloud, passed away due to injuries received in a car accident in Sheboygan County; Betty passing on Saturday, April 23, 2022 and George on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Betty was born in Campbellsport on July 25, 1951 the daughter of Donald and Virginia (nee Long) Galligan. George was born on Feb. 6, 1947 in Fond du Lac, the son of Carlton and Jean (nee Rozek) Seibel. They were joined in holy marriage on September 9, 1972, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee where they continued to be members.Betty worked at the West Bend Company, Baker Cheese, Kemps and Tecumseh Products and then started her favorite job, babysitting her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, shopping – especially thrifting.George worked as a game warden and then at the West Bend Company before retirement. He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, his two dogs CJ and Ruby, bowling, coaching, playing and watching sports.Both Betty and George enjoyed gardening and camping together, but most important to them was spending time with their grandchildren.Betty and George are survived by their daughters, Tammy (John) Burns, Heather (David) Cottrell and Dawn (Jason) Wolf; grandchildren, Payton and Ethan Burns, Talia (Caleb) Hyatt, Destiny, Elijah and Dawson Cottrell and Molly, Hailey, Brooklyn and Nicholas Wolf; further survived by Betty’s sisters, Beverly (Bruce) Falk, Carol (Don) Butz, Linda (Tom) Campagna; her brothers, Robert (Gayle) Galligan, John Galligan, Larry (Patty) Galligan, Ralph Galligan, William (Joyce) Galligan, George (Lori) Galligan and Herb (Terri) Galligan; her sister-in-law, Kathy Galligan; and George’s sisters, Kathleen Seibel (Kathy Kempf), Nancy (Ken) Laning, Joanne (Craig) Jerabek; and his brother, Carl (Shantell) Seibel; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.Preceding Betty in death were her parents; sister, Judy; and brothers, Donald, Jr., Frederick and James. Preceding George in death were his parents.Visitation will be Friday, May 6, from 3-7 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main Street, Campbellsport, and on Saturday, May 7, from 9-11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee (W494 Elm St., Campbellsport).Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee. Susan B. Krug

Susan B. Krug


Susan “Sue” B. Krug of Fond du Lac was born to eternal life on May 1, 2022, after 73 years living an amazing example of love.Sue was born April 5, 1949, to Edwin and Helen (nee Kremer) Hahn. They moved to Dotyville, where Sue met and married the love of her life, Milton Krug, on May 7, 1966, at St. Michael’s Church in Dotyville. They built their home in Dotyville and raised their family there.Sue enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, camping and everything to do with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband of 55 years, Milt; three children, Jeff (Giuli) Krug of Belton, TX, Heather (Larry) Koffman of Campbellsport, and Angela (Matt) Scodellaro of Vienna, VA; eight grandchildren, Gabriel, Sophia, Eilana, Samuel, Jacob, Thomas, Vincent, and Joseph; her sister, Mary Jo Willis (nee Hahn); her sisters-in-law, Shirley Wild (nee Krug) and Olga Hahn; her brother-in-law, Donald Krug; nieces, nephews and cherished friends and neighbors.Preceding her in death were her parents; in-laws, Clarence and Viola (nee Miller) Krug; brother, John Hahn; sister, Jeannie (Orv) Tabbert; and brother-in-law, Herbert Krug.Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac, and on Monday, May 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden.Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church. Eric M. Seibel


Eric M. Seibel, 30, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022.He was born on August 13, 1991, in Fond du Lac, a son of Bob Seibel and Holly Ernst Seibel. On September 1, 2019, Eric married Tracey Lynn Smith in Fond du Lac.Eric was a graduate of Campbellsport High School and Moraine Park Technical College with a degree in Engineering Design. He was part of the Project Grill in high school, was an Eagle Scout and ran track for one year. Eric worked as a CAD Designer at Wells Manufacturing. He helped maintain and cut grass at St. John’s Cemetery. Eric loved being outdoors, enjoying camping, biking, hiking, canoeing, and winter sports. He was always helping people and was very creative in making things. Eric also enjoyed K’Nex, HO trains, geocaching and disc golf.Eric is survived by his wife, Tracey; father, Bob (fiancée, Julie Andrew); mother, Holly (fiancé, Mike Vandenheuvel) Seibel; brother, James (Karrie) Seibel; grandmother, Catherine Ernst; father-in-law, Carl (Marcine) Smith; mother-in-law, Jeffrey Smith; other relatives and friends.Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grand - parents, Milton and Laura Seibel, and maternal grandfather, Martin Ernst.Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac, and Friday, May 6, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.A memorial service will be Friday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, with Rev.
