Leona May Dins, age 73, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.Leona was born in Fond du Lac on September 20, 1949. She graduated from Campbellsport High School. She married her loving husband, Kenneth, on July 3, 1977, in Campbellsport.She worked in Food Service for Mesa General Hospital and Brookdale Senior Living - Horizon Bay.Leona is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dins; her children, Scott Ludwig and spouse Heather, Shelly Ludwig, and Crystal Dins; her grandchildren, Danielle Ortega, Isaiac Graham, Quentin Lewis, and Willen Ludwig; one great-grandchild, Lorenzo Diaz; and her siblings, David Muellenbach, Helen Wittkop, Robert Muellenbach and Steven Muellenbach.Leona is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Ludwig, who passed in 1973; her father, Leo Muellenbach; her mother, Fern (Olson) Muellenbach; and her mother and father-in-law, Carl and Beatrice Dins.There was a memorial service held for Leona at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 715 W. James J. Haug


James J. Haug passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 82 years. He was born June 21, 1940, in the Town of Auburn to the late John “Jack” and Lorinda “Lindy” (nee Mathieu). Jim grew up in rural Campbellsport on a farm and when he was in high school, he worked part time at Warty Industry. Following his graduation from Campbellsport High School with the Class of 1959, he enlisted into the United States Army, serving in Germany. He returned home in March of 1962.In 1963, he was united in marriage to Judy Fischer. Together, they had one son, and later moved to West Bend.For more than 25 years, he worked for Haug and Sons Roofing. He then went on to share his knowledge and talents with Christiansen Roofing for 32 years. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing on their property in Adams, WI and going to Montana to hunt and visit with friends.Survivors include his wife, Judy; their grandson, Jacob (Abby); and step-grandson, Brandon (Tamarra) Terrien; three lovely great-grandchildren, Talia, Jack and Helena Haug; two brothers, Joe (Sharon) of Arizona and John of Wisconsin; one brother-in-law, Bill (Rose Mary) Fischer of Wisconsin; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dan; step-grandson, Michael Terrien; and his parents-in-law, Gus and Gerty Fischer.Private services will be held at a later date. LaVerne Lyle Immel


LaVerne Lyle Immel, 87, of the Town of Osceola, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Villa Loretto in Mt. Calvary. He was born on September 1, 1935, a son of the late Marvin and Mabel Immel (nee Meinke). On August 3, 1957, he married Ruth Krewald at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. LaVerne worked at Regal Ware and, in 1972, established Lakeview Electric Contractors. He served on the Trinity Lutheran Church council, the Dundee Mill Park committee, and was chairman of the Town of Osceola. LaVerne also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and driving his UTV.He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Daniel (Diane), Cynthia Braun (Daniel Trapp), Steven (Debbie); and grandchildren, Eric (Steph) Immel, Cody (Mindy) Immel, Amanda (Cory) Meyer, Stephanie (Daniel) Geisthardt, Kerry (Jim) Garcia; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Dorothy Meyer, Beverly (Donald) Backhaus, LeRoy (Patsy) Immel, Evelyn (Kenneth) Koepke, Stanley (Susan) Immel, Richard (Theresa) Immel, Betty (Gerald) Gitter and Rosemary Carey; many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Jeanette, Marvin Jr., Jarold (Roberta) and Judith (Carl) Kollmansberger; and brothers-in-law, Richard Carey III and Robert Meyer.Visitation was from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee (W494 Elm St., Campbellsport).
