Jean E. Dippel, 97, died Thursday afternoon, March 21, 2024, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center, Plymouth, where she was a resident for the past seven years.

She was born April 20, 1926, in the Town of Mitchell, Sheboygan County, the daughter of Ollie and Esther (Gatzke) Jeske.

On June 17, 1944, Jean married Ralph E. Dippel at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cascade. Ralph preceded her in death on March 20, 1988.

Jean was employed at Regal Ware, Kewaskum, for nearly 40 years. She and Ralph lived and farmed in the Town of Mitchell from 1944 until 1981 when they moved to Dundee, Fond du Lac County.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cascade and belonged to the Ladies Guild in the church.

She loved gardening and flowers, baking, and spending time with her loving family.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Kelly) Heuver, Cedar Grove, and their three children, Kim (Tom) Bichler of Belgium, Kyle (Karen Hoffmann) Heuver of Waupun and Robin Heuver of Manitowoc; son, Randall (Becky Schulz) Dippel, Greenbush, and their children, Derrik (Stacy Hanson) Dippel and Brandon Dippel; daughter-in-law, Sheila (Wendt) Dippel, Cascade, and sons Jeremie (Jennifer Thull) and Jesse Dippel; son, Dean and Beth (Bartelt) Dippel, Cascade, and their daughter, Katie (Christopher Reilly). She is further survived by 11 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; and her fourth son, Mark Jeske.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Roger; her brother and sister-in-law, Florian and Mildred (Kubitz) Jeske.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (April 1, 2024) at 11:30 a.m. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. John Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Cascade.

Visitation will be held on Monday Morning (April 1) from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jean’s name.
