Walter Anderson

 

Walter Anderson, 83, of Theresa, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam.

Walter was born the son of Erick and Lydia (Ruddat) Anderson on July 10, 1938, in Granville.

He served his country honorably in the US Army. Walter was united in marriage to Lenora Wagner on June 5, 1957, in Granville.

Walter spent his life as a homebuilder. He was an active member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa, where he served as a past council member and secretary. He was always there to lend a hand.

In his spare time, Walter enjoyed fishing, gaming trips, walking with his wife, and traveling. Most important to Walter was his family and he cherished the time spent with them.

Walter is survived by his wife, Lenora of Theresa; his children, Gerald (Laurie) Anderson of Pewaukee and Sheryl (Michael) Elack of Theresa; his grandchildren, Christine (Bradley) Peck, James (Alicia) Anderson, Michael (Darcey Decker) Anderson, Kathryn (Gavin) Feucht, Michael (Anna) Elack, and Joshua Elack; step-grandchildren, Pamela Duane, Eric Duane, and Brian Duane; his great-grandchildren, Jaime, Aaron, Brady, Addison, Jackson, Hudson, Lydia, Josephine, Alayna, and Michaela; his sisters, Ruth TerLouw and Barbara Suyama; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jane Anderson; brothers-in-law, Bill Suyama and Joe TerLouw; and his nephew, Eric TerLouw.

A private family service will be held at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa with the Rev. Jonathan Learman officiating.
